Things are happening in the world of bookclub, and who knows, you might be interested.
The last book we read was Charles de Lint's The Onion Girl. General consensus at last week's meeting was 'it is a bit shit'.
However, China Mieville's novel The City & The City is looking much better. I don't know about you guys, but I am liking it so far. Though I find myself much more interested in how the whole split cities/unseeing/Breach thing works than the actual plot. Do you have an opinion? greteldragon has started up a bookclub-specific forum that you should check out. It is a place to discuss books we've already had meetings for, as well as upcoming books. Members can also suggest books we should read next.
If you are not a book club member but would like to be, you should join us! We will be discussing The City & The City on (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) Wednesday the 15th of September. After that will be The Forever War by Joe Haldeman.
tl;dr: Look at Zoe's forum.
